About this event

We released the draft report for the review of biosecurity import requirements for fresh apple fruit from the Pacific Northwest states of the USA on 23 October 2020. Stakeholders are invited to submit comments on the draft report during the public consultation period, which closes on 21 January 2021.

This information session for the Australian apple industry is an opportunity to discuss and provide clarity on the technical information outlined in the draft report.

The meeting will be held as a videoconference on Microsoft Teams, and we will email you instructions closer to the event. You can join the meeting through a web browser even if you do not have a Microsoft Teams account. There will also be an option to join the meeting by phone.

If you have any specific questions about the draft report, we encourage you to send them to us ahead of the meeting and we will answer them during the meeting. Please email your questions to plantstakeholders@agriculture.gov.au .
